Unlocked is a fictional mobile mystery game. This policy explains which data the app may process, why, and which choices are available to you.
1. Data we do not ask for
- No Unlocked account or mandatory sign-up.
- No collection of your name, email address or phone number to play.
- No precise geolocation.
- No access to your personal photos, contacts or microphone.
- No sale of personal data and no personalised advertising displayed inside the game.
2. Analytics and advertising attribution
Only if you accept on the consent screen, Unlocked uses PostHog to measure usage events such as a case starting or a screen being viewed. The TikTok App Events SDK may also measure whether a campaign led to an install, paywall view, checkout or subscription.
Depending on your choices and system permissions, TikTok may receive the device advertising identifier, technical app and device information, event time, and the product identifier, price and currency. We never send your case answers, notes, name, email address, phone number or payment details.
You can decline or withdraw consent from the app settings. The game works the same either way.
3. Subscriptions and payments
Apple or Google Play processes payment depending on your device. RevenueCat manages access entitlements and receives an anonymous app identifier and subscription status. Bank details never reach us.
4. Notifications
If you allow notifications, OneSignal uses a push token to deliver reminders and new-case announcements. Notifications can be disabled in your device settings.
5. Progress and iCloud
Progress is stored locally. On compatible Apple devices, it may be copied to the iCloud key-value storage associated with your Apple Account to sync devices. Apple handles this sync; we do not access the contents of your iCloud account.
6. Retention and deletion
Delete local data by resetting a case or removing the app. To request deletion of data held by our providers, email support.unlocked@gmail.com and include your anonymous app identifier if available. Purchase records may be retained where legally required.
7. Intended audience
Unlocked is intended for people aged 12 and over and contains fictional investigation themes.
